IPL Winners List

IPL Winner 2021

IPL 2021 has been postponed, following several positive Covid-19 cases across franchises over the past couple of days. There is no official update yet on when or whether the remainder of the tournament will be held. The IPL Winner 2021 will be updated here once the tournament has been finished.

IPL Winner 2020: Mumbai Indians

This is the consecutive second time Mumbai Indians won the IPL title & and overall 5th times. The final Match played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. MI won this match by 5 wickets. MI also won Paytm Fairplay Award this year.

IPL Winner 2019: Mumbai Indians

The final of the IPL 2019 again saw the clash of the titans. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings met again in the finals. The final went down to the last bowl. Shardul Thakur who was hoping for at least one run for the super over failed to counter Malinga’s off-cutter. Thus, Mumbai Indians became the champions for a record 4th time. With this, Mumbai Indians became the most successful team in IPL history and won 4th IPL titles.

IPL Winner 2018: Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings become the second team to win more than two trophies of IPL. Veterans Ambati Rayadu and Shane Watson were the backbones of the batting unit. Dhoni, as usual, provided best finishes in most of the games. CSK’s bowling unit was lucky to get inputs from MS Dhoni, the captain and Dwanye Bravo, who led the bowling attack for CSK.

IPL Winner 2017: Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians became the 1st team in IPL history to win the title more than two times. They first win was in 2013 and the second in 2015. The victory margin of Mumbai Indians against the Rising Pune Supergiants in the final was just one run. Rohit Sharma, as the captain of Mumbai Indians, was exceptional.

IPL Winner 2016: Sunrisers Hyderabad

The Sunrisers Hyderabad team managed to win the final against Royal Challengers Bangalore by just 8 runs. David Warner masterfully crafted the team journey through the season as a captain. But the season was more about the Virat Kohli – Ab de Villiers partnership in almost all the RCB matches. Virat scored 4 centuries and 7 half-centuries in 16 innings he played! There should be no doubt on who was the orange cap winner for the season.

IPL Winner 2015: Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians became the third team after CSK and KKR to win the title more than once. Again, the apt balancing of the Mumbai Indians helped them win the trophy. Simmons, Rohit Sharma, Ambati Rayadu and Kieron Pollard carried the batting unit. The bowling department was led by Slinga Malinga. Lasith Malinga took 24 wickets in the tournament but couldn’t get the purple cap. Dwayne Bravo went ahead of him by scalping two extra wickets.

IPL Winner 2014: Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders become the second team to won the IPL trophy more than once. If Manvinder Bisla was the hero in the final of the 2012 edition, this time it was Manish Pandey’s heroics that led KKR to chase a huge total of 199. Pandey scored a brilliant 94 from 50. Robin Uthappa from KKR won the orange cap for scoring 660 runs in 16 innings.

IPL Winner 2013: Mumbai Indians

The hitman, Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians to their first glory at the IPL. MI did so by defeating Chennai Super Kings in the final of 2013 IPL. The side was clinically well balanced throughout the tournament. The likes of Kieron Pollard, Lasith Malinga and Mitchell Johnson were a consistent part of the team’s playing XI.

IPL Winner 2012: Kolkata Knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders defeated the defending champions Chennai Super Kings in the final. With KKR batsman left with the daunting task of chasing 190 in the final, Bisla took the onus of chase on himself and replied with a swashbuckling inning of 89 from 48 balls. CSK’s run feast led by Suresh Raina’s 73 from 38 wasn’t enough to stop the Knights from snatching the title from them.

IPL Winner 2011: Chennai Super Kings

Channai Super Kings become the first team of IPL to win back to back finals in the history. The defending champions held the title against the batting titans of the tournament RCB. CSK’s batting unit was lit up by the presence of Mr Cricket, Michael Hussey, who played some important innings throughout the tournament. Hussey and Murali Vijay’s 159 run opening partnership against the Royal Challengers Bangalore was the main reason for CSK defending the title.

IPL Winner 2010: Chennai Super Kings

MS Dhoni finally lifted the trophy after missing it in the inaugural edition. With the likes of Suresh Raina, Mathew Hayden, Albie Morkel, Muralitharan and Dhoni himself, army were the strong contenders for the title right from the start of the tournament. Suresh Raina was absolutely brilliant with the bat throughout the tournament serving as the backbone of the team’s batting line up. It was his knock of 57 not out from 35 that lit up CSK’s road to glory in its final against Sachin Tendulkar led Mumbai Indians.

IPL Winner 2009: Deccan Chargers

The Chargers led by Adam Gilchrist won the second edition of the Indian Premier League. The team had some incredible hitters in them – Herschelle Gibbs, Andrew Symonds, young Rohit Sharma. Pragyan Ojha played a very crucial role in the team’s journey with his left-arm spin bowling scalping 18 wickets in the tournament. Adam Gilchrist notched up a total of 495 runs in 16 matches and stood second in the overall list of highest run-scorers in the season behind Mathew Hayden.

IPL Winner 2008: Rajasthan Royals

The Shane Warne led Rajasthan Royals won the first edition of the Indian Premier League. A thoroughly well balanced team with experienced batsmen like Shane Watson and Graeme Smith, an explosive batsman like Yusuf Pathan in the middle order, and deceptive bowler like Sohail Tanvir were the backbone of the Rajasthan Royals in the first edition. But in the final against the Chennai Super Kings, Yusuf Pathan played a match of his life with contributions in both bowling and the batting department. Yusuf first took 3 crucial wickets with run-rate less than a bowl and scored a quickfire 56 from 39.

1. Global Esports

Global Esports burst into the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive pro scene in 2019. They made some pretty major waves by signing some top Indian CS:GO players earlier in their career as a pro team. In that same year, they came second in the ESL India premiership. They also finished second in eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia 2019 – South Asia. They may not be the absolute best team going right now, but with such huge advancements in their careers so early in the history of the team, they could quickly become a force to be reckoned with globally as well as being one of the best Indian esports teams.

SOUL is by far the most popular PUBG esports team in India. While PUBG may not be the most popular esports in India, their skill and determination has rocketed them to popularity. They were initially formed to compete in DreamHack Mumbai in 2018. Since then, they have won every national esports tournament in India.

They are the best PUBG esports team in India, but they have yet to win a global championship. Their current roster may not reach the heights of the initial team, but they are still the most popular PUBG Indian esports team.

3. Orange Rock

Orange Rock is currently the highest-earning mobile esports team in India. While SOUL may have been the most popular PUBG team, Orange Rock is by far the most popular PUBG Mobile team in India. They had a second-place finish in PUBG Mobile World League 2020: East, they won in the ESL India Premiership 2020 Summer Season, PUBG Mobile Pro League – Spring Split 2020: South Asia, and PUBG Mobile Club Open – Spring Split 2020: India.

4. Team Brutality

They market themselves as India’s leading esports organisation. They began as a CS:GO esports team but since their beginning, they have branched out into Tekken, Street Fighter, and racing titles. They are far more comparable to the major esports organisations like Cloud9 or Fnatic than they are to a single game esports team. They are a major organisation but spreading themselves too thin has pushed them further down the list. They may still be good, but they are far from the best Indian esports team.

5. TSM Entity

Previously known as Entity Esports, they partnered with TSM and became TSM Entity. They were India’s best performing PUBG Mobile team in 2019 and placed sixth in PUBG Mobile World League 2020. They may never reach the heights that they managed in 2019 but their immense skill and prowess has positioned them as one of the best PUBG Mobile teams in South Asia and a great pick if you want to bet on esports in India.

6. BL4ZE Esports

BL4ZE Esports is an elite Indian CS:GO team. They have had an amazing run at the ESL India 2019 fall season as well as qualifying for the WESG 2019 APAC finals. Again, this team would have been higher on the list if not for the unfortunate news this year.

In late April 2021, team captain Marzil announced his retirement from the CS:GO competitive scene and made the move over to Valorant esports. This major shift in the team dynamics has left the BL4ZE Esports organisation in limbo. They may make a return, they are currently requesting players to try out for their team, but if they return, they may not reach the heights they once did.

7. GXR Celtz

GXR Celtz is another PUBG Mobile esports team, they are one of the big three mobile esports teams on the subcontinent and their record shows that.  They had a 9th place finish in PUBG Mobile Club Open – Spring Split 2020: India but from that disappointing result, the team went on to win the PUBG Mobile Pro League – Spring Split 2020: South Asia. The team has had some roster changes recently, but they are still some of the best players in India.

8. Total Gaming Esports

Despite Free Fire having a relatively small global reach, Total Gaming Esports is becoming a hugely popular esports team and content brand. They won the Free Fire India Championship 2020 Fall and were 8th in the Free Fire Continental Series 2020: Asia. Outside of tournaments, the team has a YouTube channel with nearly 20 million subscribers.

9. Team Vitality

They are a major player in the global esports scene and as of March 2021, they have moved into the worlds of Indian mobile esports. They launched their first all-Indian mobile eSports roster. This is their first major move outside of Europe and they are certain to gain many fans, Vitality is not just a European team, they have a global fanbase.

They are a Call of Duty Mobile team led by Arav “MonK” Narang. The roster is made up of Armaan “Moonscope” Dharni, Priyank “DEATH” Birajdar, Akshan “Argon” Madhani, Samartha Ganesh “JOKOs” Ghadge, and Samruddha “SAMS” Ghadge. The team will be coached by veteran CoD player Harnoor “Toxy” Mutneja. They are already established players and their popularity is sure to grow.

10. Fnatic

Another major global player in the esports industry has made its mark on the Indian esports scene. They have maintained a very popular and successful PUBG Mobile team in the country. However, the uncertainty around the future of the mobile game has forced them to release their roster and halt operations. They have publicly said that they have not given up on India and they committed to finding other options for esports.

India’s 10 Richest Billionaires 2021

Another Covid-19 wave is clearing across India and absolute cases presently surpass 12 million. Be that as it may, the nation’s financial exchange has disregarded its pandemic funk to scale new pinnacles; the benchmark Sensex is up 75% from a year prior. The all out number of Indian tycoons rose to 140 from 102 a year ago; their joined abundance has almost multiplied to $596 billion.

Success rules at the top: The three most extravagant Indians alone have added quite recently more than $100 billion between them. 10. Philips Bass SHE4305

Here is the complete review of the Philips Bass+ SHE 4305 which comes a little late in this list of best earphones under 1000 with mic.

The Philips Bass+ has a standard wired in-ear headset design which is not the best in this list of best earphones under 1000 with mic. The earphones are lightweight but the wire quality is average. The wire on the Philips Bass+ is very skinny and looks susceptible to damage. The length of the wire is 1.2m which is good for keeping the phone in the pocket while listening to songs but the wire isn’t tangle-free. The earbuds are tilted at 45 degrees which prevents the earphones from falling down while running, dancing and during gym sessions. The casing looks good in black and is minimalistic with a plus sign along with the little Philips logo.

Available colours
Black, Red, White and Blue

The Philips Bass+ delivers a decent quality sound on overall performance. The Bass is thumping and loud on the Philips Bass+, thanks to its 9-23Hz frequency response. The Philips Bass+ comes with 12.2 mm audio drivers which are quite loud. The Philips Bass+ performs quite well on mid-range treble notes but doesn’t perform well on the highs. The vocals get a bit distorted at very high volumes so it’s advisable to listen to songs at around 75% volumes on the Philips Bass+.

Noise Cancellation on Philips Bass+ is impressively sharp and you can listen to songs and make calls without disturbance in a noisy environment comfortably.

Build Quality
The 1.2m long wire of the Philips Bass+ covered by a single rubber coating which feels pretty thin. The wire is not tangle-free and should not be handled roughly to prevent damage. The earbud casing is also made up of plastic but its build feels premium. The audio connector is gold plated and rust-free so there is no problem in connectivity.

The Philips Bass+ SHE 4305 comes with an in-line single-button remote and mic. The button can be used to pick and reject calls as well as play/pause songs but there are no dedicated volume controller keys present here.

What’s in the box?
The Philips Bass+ comes with 3 pairs of differently sized ear tips to suit all ears along with the earphones.

  • The Philips Bass+ comes with just 6 months warranty which looks low as compared to others on this list.
  • The wires on Philips Bass+ aren’t tangle-free and look pretty delicate.

Top 10 Funniest Cricket Moments

1. Mark Richardson

At number 1 in Top 10 Funniest Cricket Moments is Mark Richardson. This is hands-down the funniest moment to have happened on the cricket field and it was so funny that not only the entire crowd started laughing but also the players on the field, dressing room and the umpires as well.

During an India versus New Zealand match, Mark suddenly had muscle cramps after hitting a shot and the way he fell down and started gyrating along with the sounds that he made, brought the whole stadium laughing.

2. Lou Vincent

At number 2 in Top 10 Funniest Cricket Moments is Lou Vincent. In cricket, we often see the valiant efforts that the players on the boundary line show in order to save the boundaries, be it breathtaking catches or amazing drives and during such a good attempt something funny happened.

When kiwi fielder Lou Vincent was trying to save a boundary, accidentally his pants came down during the fielding attempt to everyone’s surprise.

3. Inzamam ul Haq

At number 3 in Top 10 Funniest Cricket Moments is Inzamam ul Haq. This Pakistani batsman still holds his place as one of the best batsmen to have come out of Pakistan. Besides, he also made his name as one of the greatest cricketers.

But while his stroke play and hitting were good, running between the wickets was not his forte. His large stature made him slow and he was run out a lot of times and most of them were in a funny fashion.

4. Ajit Agarkar

At number 4 in Top 10 Funniest Cricket Moments is Ajit Agarkar. One of the main spearheads of the Indian bowling back in the early 2000s, Agarkar also proved his proficiency with the bat. But during a tour against the Australians, Agarkar had seven consecutive ducks in seven consecutive matches.

So, when he finally opened his account against the Australians and scored a run, he raised his bat and waved it for the crowd as if he had scored a century.

5. Tillakaratne Dilshan

At number 5 is Tillakaratne Dilshan. During a match of Sri Lanka against Bangladesh, Dilshan got a lesson of gravity that he might have forgotten during the years of playing.

After a dismissal, he celebrated as in the fashion of wicket-keepers by raising the ball high in the air but what goes up must come down and when it did it came down right back on Dilshan’s head much to the amusement of everyone.

6. Billy Bowden

At number 6 in Top 10 Funniest Cricket Moments is Billy Bowden. Who would have thought that even the umpires can be entertaining in a cricket match?

Billy Bowden brings a unique flavor to the match the umpires in by his unique style of signaling wide, out or a boundary and so no wonder that he has so many fans worldwide but even they are sometimes stumped when Billy pulls off even more bizarre signals to the delight of cricket fans worldwide.

7. Andrew Strauss

At number 7 is Andrew Strauss. During a test match between England and South Africa, the unexpected happened. As Andrew Strauss scooped up the ball, his sunglasses came off in the air. And as he threw the ball towards the wicket, his sunglass started floating in the air at that time came down into the ball’s path.

It then got shattered on the impact. And, everyone on the field was smiling for what were odds that this could have happened.

8. Sachin Tendulkar

At number 8 in Top 10 Funniest Cricket Moments is Sachin Tendulkar. The greatest batsman who always had things under his control but on this occasion he let things slide away. While he and Anil Kumble were batting, Sachin flicked the ball to the on the side and ran a run but while coming for a second he and Kumble weren’t on the same page leading to a wide confusion and Sachin was almost run out if not for the careless fumbling by the wicket-keeper.

The whole situation was downright funny as both the batsmen and fielders had no idea what was going on and even the commentators said that “it looks like a circus down there”.

9. Dwayne Smith

At number 9 is Dwayne Smith. Who doesn’t like some comedy of errors? And, in this particular match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, the comedy of errors got a new meaning. Dwayne Smith hit a shot on the offside and took a run. But then due to misfielding, he attempted to take another where it all started.

Dwayne Smith should have been easily run out if not for the carelessness of the fielder who missed four chances to run him out! Yes, they had four chances and still failed!

10. Zaheer Khan

At number 10 in Top 10 Funniest Cricket Moments is Zaheer Khan. A match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is always a tense affair. But on this particular day, the atmosphere became a little light when a young lady in the crowd during the test match was holding a placard with “Love you Zaheer” written on it.

As the camera zoomed on her, the crowd erupted in cheers. And then the camera focused on Zaheer, where his teammates started teasing him.

These blunders and bloopers are some of the funniest that have happened on the cricket field and provide some much needed comic relief to this otherwise beautiful game of cricket. Share your thoughts about Funniest Cricket Moments in Comment Box Below.
